In Designer a course can have multiple versions each with a different status. .png)
- WIP: WIP (Work In Progress) courses are in development. They have not been approved for syllabus development. Anything changed in a WIP version will not affect other versions of the course.
- Pending: Pending courses are in review. Changes cannot be made to pending courses until they are either approved (become Active or Future) or returned to WIP status.
- Active: Courses that have been approved for use. Site Administrators can always make changes to active versions, but other roles may not be able to unless they have been given permission to do so.
- Future: Courses that have been approved for use at a future date. Site Administrators can always make changes to future versions, but other roles may not be able to unless they have been given permission to do so.
Tip
You will commonly work in the WIP version if you are looking to add or edit information in the Course Outcome Summary. If you do not see WIP as a status option, select Create WIP or contact your site administrator to have a WIP version created for you.
