Tips
- Request that your program leaders inform you if they need External Standards for their program/course documentation.
- Request that they send the standards in an electronic format OR provide you with the URL where the standards can be found.
- Format the standards data as desired to facilitate linking in WIDS. Verify the format with the program leaders.
- Include information about the source of the standards, and the date in the information for the standards set. If necessary seek copyright approval for adding the standards to your library.
- Remind program and course developers that new standards will need to be associated and linked within program and course projects.
